This badge certifies that the holder successfully completed the Nottingham Advantage Award module 'Global Buddies Mentoring'. The Nottingham Advantage Award gives students the opportunity to develop essential life and work based skills, through the completion of extracurricular modules. Students completing this module have volunteered as Global Buddies Mentors for incoming International and EU students, and will have reflected on their own skills while developing an understanding of the mentor role and the key attributes required to be effective. This includes signposting and active listening, as well as enhancing their cultural awareness and communication skills to become more globally minded individuals.
