This badge certifies that the holder successfully completed the Nottingham Advantage Award module 'Peer Mentoring for Law Students'. The Nottingham Advantage Award gives students the opportunity to develop essential life and work based skills, through the completion of extracurricular modules. Students will have developed an understanding of the role of a peer mentor and practiced the key skills needed to be effective in this role. This module allows students to build a broad range of skills—including interpersonal skills, leadership, problem solving, communication skills and adaptability —through a combination of training, practical support and skills focused self study, followed by reflection on the experience and the competencies they have developed.
