Nottingham Consultancy Challenge Completer 2023

This badge certifies that the holder successfully completed the Nottingham Consultancy Challenge in the spring of 2023. The NCC is an intensive, six-week consultancy simulator where participants work in a small multi-discipline group to provide support to a real organisation. Individuals go through a competitive application process to participate in the Challenge on a voluntary basis and in addition to academic commitments. Each group must problem-solve and research the client’s project, which is randomly assigned and in an unfamiliar sector to add to the challenge, requiring participants to develop a range of skills relevant to constancy: professional communication, group work, presentation skills and a reflective approach to professional development. To successfully complete the Challenge, an individual is likely to have committed around 48 hours of their time and will have contributed to a group presentation and written report, delivered to the client at the end of the Challenge, and received feedback on how well the group addressed the project brief.
