Nottingham Consultancy Challenge Completer 2025

This badge is awarded to individuals who completed the University of Nottingham's Nottingham Consultancy Challenge: an intensive, six-week consultancy simulator where students work in a small multi-disciplinary group to provide support to a real organisation. Individuals go through a competitive application process to participate in the Challenge on a voluntary basis and in addition to academic commitments. Each group must problem-solve and research their client’s project, which is randomly assigned and in an unfamiliar sector to add to the challenge. Participants to develop a range of skills relevant to constancy: professional communication, group work, presentation skills and a reflective approach to professional development. To successfully complete the Challenge, an individual is likely to have committed around 48 hours of their time over the six-week programme and will have contributed to a group presentation and written report, delivered to their client at the end of the Challenge. The client then provides constructive feedback on how well the consultancy group addressed the project brief, and the value that this has added to the organisation.
