This badge certifies that the holder successfully completed the Nottingham Advantage Award module ‘Peer Mentoring for Geographers’. The Nottingham Advantage Award gives students the opportunity to develop essential life and work based skills, through the completion of extracurricular modules. Students will have developed an understanding of the role of a mentor and practice the skills needed to be effective in this role, such as, communication, leadership and influencing people. The module will also have given students the opportunity to reflect on the experience and transferable skills gained through their mentor role.
